Chrome plated hollow bar is known as Chrome plated od tube also, it has the same function with chrome plated bar, but with much lighter unit weight than that. Using chrome plated hollow bar, the hydraulic cylinder weight will be greatly reduced, so the hydraulic cylinder will be more energy efficient. Our chrome plated hollow bar is produced from seamless hollow bar, by polishing the surface and chrome plated it

Compared to chrome plated bar, the chrome plated hollow bar can provide lighter unit weight when used as the hydraulic cylinder piston rods. Chrome plated tubes can also be offered with a honed inside diameter for telescoping hydraulic cylinder utilities.

Chrome plated OD tube size is available in wide range of OD 25 mm to OD 609 mm.

Our factory can manufacture chrome plated od tubes in fixed length or random length up to 12 meters.

The Chrome plated hollow bars can be used for manufacturing and repairing hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, telescoping hydraulic cylinders, and the applications where high precision and high smooth outside surface is required. This product is usually used together with honed cylinder tubes for pneumatic cylinder and hydraulic cylinder applications. The chrome plated hollow bar usually is used to make hydraulic piston rods.
